Yes. A valid contact lens prescription from a licensed eye care professional is required to purchase contact lenses.

You can upload your prescription on the product page before adding the item to your cart. We accept JPG, PNG, and PDF files.

Yes. You can either upload your prescription or enter the prescription details directly on the product page.

Expired prescriptions cannot be accepted. Please visit your eye care professional to obtain an updated prescription.

Our optometrist reviews prescription details before shipping. If there is any issue, we will contact you before processing your order.

Understanding Your Prescription

No. Eyeglass prescriptions and contact lens prescriptions are different. Contact lenses require additional measurements such as Base Curve (BC) and Diameter (DIA).

OD: Right eye

OS: Left eye

  • SPH: Lens power for nearsightedness or farsightedness
  • CYL: Correction for astigmatism
  • AXIS: Position of astigmatism correction
  • BC (Base Curve): The curve of the contact lens.
  • DIA (Diameter): The width of the contact lens.

We believe you shouldn't have to pay premium prices for something you rely on every day. That's why we keep our overhead lean and pass the savings on to you - so you get the same high-quality contact lenses without unnecessary markups.

In many cases, yes. Contact lenses are generally eligible under HSA and FSA plans. Please confirm with your plan provider.

If you find the same product at a lower price from an authorized U.S. retailer, contact us and we will review the pricing.

Lens Care & Safety

Most people wear contact lenses for 10–12 hours per day, or as recommended by their eye care professional.

Only if your lenses are specifically approved for overnight wear and your doctor has recommended it.

Always consult your eye care provider. Use fresh contact lens solution every day. Never use tap water or saliva. Always store lenses in a clean case.

Replace your lenses according to the schedule prescribed:

  • Daily lenses: after one use
  • Weekly lenses: every two weeks
  • Monthly lenses: every month

Remove your lenses immediately. If redness, pain, or irritation continues, contact your eye care professional.

Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship throughout the United States.

Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days after prescription verification. If there's any delay with your order, our customer service team will keep you informed

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Returns & Support

Unopened boxes in their original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened boxes cannot be returned for safety reasons. To initiate a return, please contact us at support@contactlensdirect.com with your order number and we'll provide return instructions.
